About Creator Ledger
A configured finance system for creative businesses, not another app you have to figure out alone
Our Story
Creator Ledger was built for the reality of running a creative business. Selling across multiple online marketplaces and your own site, often under different brand names with different fee structures, calls for a system that can keep up with how you actually operate.
Creators often end up piecing together separate spreadsheets per marketplace, working through which fees are deductible, and untangling mixed business and personal expenses ahead of tax season. It's manageable, but it takes time and the right setup to stay on top of it.
So we built the system we wished existed. Then we realized that handing someone a blank app still leaves them to figure out the hard part: how to structure their categories, tags, and rules around their specific business. That's why we now offer Creator Ledger as a configured implementation, not just a sign-up. We set it up around your brands, marketplaces, and workflow so it's ready to use on day one.
Creator-First
Every feature is designed for people who make and sell creative work, not Fortune 500 companies.
Configured, Not Blank
You don't get an empty app and a manual. You get a system set up around your business, ready to use.
Tax-Focused
An operational ledger that keeps clean, Schedule C-ready records you can hand to your accountant or file yourself, with exports that make the handoff simple.
Our Mission
To give creative entrepreneurs a finance system that actually fits how they sell, configured around their business instead of bent to fit a template, so they can grow without the bookkeeping overhead.
How We Work
General Implementation
A standardized setup for solo creators: accounts, default Schedule C categories, brand and marketplace tags, and automation rules for your primary sales channels. A flat base rate gets you a working ledger.
Custom Implementation
For multi-brand, multi-channel operations: custom categories and tax buckets, sales tax tracking by state, contractor and 1099 setup, and quarterly check-ins. Quoted based on your scope.
Who We Serve
Multi-channel sellers: Running shops across several online marketplaces and their own site. Juggling different payout schedules and fee structures.
Multi-brand entrepreneurs: Managing multiple product lines or brands under one business entity. Needing to track profitability separately.
Sole proprietors: Creative professionals who need to separate business from personal expenses, especially for mixed-use costs like phones, internet, and home office.
Tax-conscious creators: Anyone who's dreaded tax season and wants organized, accurate records without the complexity of enterprise accounting software.
